The closest Airport to both festival locations is Luxembourg Airport

The public transport (2nd class) in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is free but it ends at the border, so you must get a cross-border pass or ticket if you travel to Trier. If you travel from the airport to Mersch, no ticket is needed for the bus to the Gare Central and the train to Mersch (2nd class).

Good to know: If you have a pre-sale ticket or festivalpass, the fee for the train from the LU-DE border to Trier is already included in your ticket, i.e. no further ticket purchase is needed.

Trier
There are two train stations in Trier that are rather close to the Europahalle Trier and to the Tufa Trier.

Hauptbahnhof Trier
15-20 minute walk to Europahalle and Tufa Trier.

Trier Süd
15 minute walk to Europahalle and Tufa Trier.

Mersch (LU)
From Mersch station to Mierscher Theater it is ten minute walk.

Good to know: There is a free shuttle bus from Trier to Mierscher Theater on Saturday.
Departure Trier: 18h20 at Palastgarten Busparkplatz, Seizstraße 6.
Departuere Mersch: 22h00 at Arrêt Maartplaz, Rue Grande-Duchesse

A free parking slot close to the theater is called Parking Schlasspesch, next to the football field.

Good to know: Don't be confused! The Mierscher Theater was rebranded not long ago from Mierscher Kulturhaus to Mierscher Theater. So if you ask locals for direction, they might still talk about the Mierscher Kulturhaus.
