David Schwindling-Meza

He completed his training at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt am Main. This was followed by 15 years of permanent engagements at various theatres including Darmstadt, Würzburg, Osnabrück, St. Gallen and most recently as a guest at Zurich Opera House. 

The collective "Zimmerfrei Productions", which he co-founded in 2012, counts over 5000 dancing kids in 11 school projects. Three years later, in 2015, he founded "House of Pain - physical dance theatre". Their two productions "Bloody Mess" and "Mother is the be(a)st" were both awarded the City of St. Gallen's sponsorship prize.  Initiated and organised the "Aids Charity" for the benefit of Aidshilfe Ostschweiz at Theater St. Gallen on several occasions. Was a board member of TanzLobby Zürich.

Teaches modern/contemporary at several schools in Germany, Switzerland, Spain and Paraguay. Gives professional training and is a guest lecturer for companies at theatres such as Linz, Graz and St. Gallen.
